Diploma "Yuri Gagarin is 90 years old"

Yuri Alekseevich Gagarin (March 9, 1934 — March 27, 1968) was a Soviet cosmonaut, Hero of the Soviet Union, holder of the highest insignia of a number of states, an honorary citizen of many Russian and foreign cities.

On April 12, 1961, Yuri Gagarin became the first person in world history to fly into outer space. The Vostok launch vehicle with the Vostok-1 spacecraft, carrying Gagarin, was launched from the Baikonur cosmodrome. After 108 minutes of flight, Gagarin successfully landed in the Saratov region, near the city of Engels.

Smolensk region – the birthplace of the cosmonaut;

Orenburg region – the place of study of Yuri Gagarin;

Moscow region – the place of pre-flight training;

Kazakhstan – the starting point of the Vostok ship,

Saratov region – the place of study of Yuri Gagarin and the place of endings of the first flight;

Vladimir region is the place of Gagarin's death in a plane crash.

Each QSO with the above regions earns the applicant 3 points.

Radio communications with amateur radio stations using temporary call signs (including outside the Russian Federation) dedicated to the cosmonaut's anniversary bring the applicant 5 points each.

Radio communications with other amateur radio operators in Russia bring the applicant 1 point each.

Repeated radio calls are counted on different bands.
