"Telegraph Marathon R-CW-C - 2019"

 

 

1 General Provisions

The diploma programs of the Telegraph Marathon R-CW-C-2019 were established by the Russian Telegraph Club (R-CW-C).

The diploma programs are timed to the "Telegraph Marathon R-CW-C - 2019", and include five separate diploma programs.

  - «W-R4CP/6» (Worked with the radio station of the seventh meeting of telegraph fans) – 3 degrees;

  - Telegraph Marathon R-CW-C - 2019" - the main diploma program of the marathon with a competitive sporting focus - 3 degrees;

  - The diploma program "220 years to the Swiss campaign of Alexander Suvorov" - 3 degrees;

  - The diploma program "275 years to the Russian naval commander F.F. Ushakov" - 3 degrees;

  - The diploma program "320 years to the Andreevsky flag of Navy of Russia" - 3 degrees.

The conditions of all programs can be fulfilled only during the Marathon.

The terms of the diploma programs are published on the RCWC.RU website.

 

Time of the fulfilment of the conditions of the diplomas:

 - beginning: July 18, 2019 (00:00 MSK); July 17th, 2019 (21:00 UTC)

 - end: August 2, 2019 (23:59 Moscow time); August 2th, 2019 (20:59 UTC)

 

General conditions for the performance of diplomas:

  Modulation: Telegraph (CW). general call CQ RCWC.

  Bands: 10, 12, 15, 17, 20, 30, 40, 80, 160 meters.

 

To the beginning of the Telegraph Marathon, the time for holding the 7th meeting of telegraph fans near the village of Blagoveshchenskaya, Anapa, Krasnodar Territory is timed. From the venue, the radio station of the Russian Telegraph Club R4CP/6 (RCWC # 1000) will be active.

 

Also, during the marathon, amateur radio stations - members of the club R-CW-C (activators) will be on the air.

 

Diplomas are issued for working with the above radio stations

Diplomas are free, given to hams in electronic form.

 

To organize the activators in the framework of the marathon and the automated downloading of the completed diplomas, RCWCLOG is created on the RCWC.RU website.

 

Activators at the end of each session on the air fill their logs in the database of the service within 24 hours. Repeated radio communications: (Worked + Call + Band coincidences) are tracked at the time of filling and are automatically deleted by the ROBOT, leaving the first connection in date and time.

 

Note: Communication with an activator radio station operating under special conditions and having an optional fractional part (/M, /P, /QRP) in its callsign is counted as a connection to the callsign without this optional fractional part, ie R4CP/6, R4CP/6/M, R4CP/6/P - in the telegraph marathon are considered one callsign and entered in RCWCLog as R4CP/6. Accordingly, R4CP/6 and R4CP are two different callsigns.

 

Logs are available for viewing to all radio amateurs both registered on the site and to the guests of the club.

 

Each applicant can at any time, see the statistics of each activator, check the records loaded into the database about all or only about their QSO, check the fulfillment of the conditions of all diploma programs by entering their callsign in special query windows.

 

When the request is received, the RCWCLOG service checks the QSO in the database and checks the fulfillment of the conditions of the diplomas for the entered callsign. The result of the check is displayed in the form of a table. If the conditions are met, the diploma becomes available for download (Diplomas W-R4CP/6 and Telegraph Marathon R-CW-C-2019 are available for download at the end of the marathon).

 

With each new filling of any log in the service base, the marathon tournament tables and work with the radio station of the rally are automatically generated, the task of which is to allocate seats among the participants of the marathon at the current time.

 

The RCWCLOG service interface is intuitive and does not require additional explanations. The rules of the service can be found on the club's website.

 

2 The principle of distribution of seats in the standings of the "Telegraphic Marathon":

 

2.1 The table contains the callsign of participants who have at least 11 radio communications with any marathon activators;

 

2.2 The advantage (higher place) is the participant having the greater number of credited telecommunications (points);

 

2.3 In case of an equal number of credited contacts (points), the participant has the advantage, who has more worked activators in his account;

 

2.4 If there is an equal number of credited contacts (points) and an equal number of worked activators, participant who has conducted contacts on more bands has the advantage;

 

2.5 If all the conditions listed in clause 2.4 (equal to QSO, activators and Bands) are equal, the participant has the advantage, who showed his result earlier (the time of the last credited QSO).

 

At the end of the marathon and the last filling of the log into the base, the standings are fixed and the final determination of the winners takes place. To fully sum up the results and accept claims from the marathon participants, 4 days are allotted.

 

3 The principle of allocation of seats in the table Works with the radio station rally R4CP/6:

 

3.1 The table consists of three parts, by the number of degrees of diploma.

 

3.2 Participants who have conducted at least 3 QSO (on three different bands) with the R4CP/6 radio station claim to the third degree of the diploma. The advantage is the radio amateur who conducted his third QSO before the rest.

 

3.3 Participants who have conducted at least 4 QSO (on four different bands) with a radio station R4CP/6 claim to the second degree of the diploma. The advantage is the radio amateur who conducted his fourth QSO before the rest.

 

3.4 The first degree of the diploma is claimed by participants who have conducted at least 5 QSO (on five different bands) with the R4CP/6 radio station. The advantage is the radio amateur who conducted his fifth QSO before the rest.

 

At the end of the entire marathon and the last filling of the log into the database, the table is fixed and the final determination of the winners takes place. To fully sum up the results and accept claims from the marathon participants 4 days are allotted.
