Contest "Winged phrases" - 2018 

Competition is conducted by Russian CW Club
Russia, Novosibirskaya oblast

Mode: CW
Bands: 80 м, 40 м, 20 м

Competition is conducted in three tours successively on 20m, 40m and 80m for an hour and with breaks:
1 tour- 03.03.2018. 08:00:00 UTC-08:59:59 UTC on 20 меters (14010-14060 KHz) - (11:00 MSK-11:59 MSK);
2 tour- 03.03.2018. 14:00:00 UTC-14:59:59 UTC on 40 меters (7010-7035 KHz) - (17:00 MSK-17:59 MSK);
3 tour- 03.03.2018. 18:00:00 UTC-18:59:59 UTC on 80 меters (3510-3550 KHz) - (21:00 MSK-21:59 MSK).
Dupe contacts are allowed only in different tours.

 
.:: CLASSES ::.
General reckoning(180) minutes for all individual and club stations, members and guests of the Russian CW club.
Participants are to prepare their own winged phrases (three-for three bands), which of them is noted down into a separate line.

You are not allowed more than three SOAPBOX in your logs. They are intended for writing your sent phrases in different tours.
Dupe contacts are allowed only in different tours.
At any moment of time participant can transmit only one signal.

.:: CONTROL NUMBERS ::.
Participants transmit RST, quantity of letters in transmitting phrase and a "winged phrase" itself through a fraction.
A winged phrase must consist of

.:: POINTS ::.

Counting of points is according to the formula= quantity of QSOs  х sum of quantity of letters in your three phrases(if three tours are worked out) and average quantity of letters for a QSO from all received phrases.
Example- conducted 100 QSOs:
- sum of letters in your transmitted phrases is equal to 100 points  (33+34+33);
- sum of letters in your received phrases is 100 QSOs= 1000 points;
Then we get  100 х (100 + 1000/100) = 11000 PTS.(for Far East and Polar stations  х 3 = 33000 PTS).
Counting of the result by participant is not obligatory.
 
.:: AWARDS ::.

Participants, who took first three places, will be presented with medals of RCWC of respective degrees, if not less than 60 stations will takepart.
Diplomas of RCWC will be sent to all participants to their email.
Sponsorship is welcome in nominations, for example:
- for the best winged phrase on the band(s);
- for the more quantity of transmitted QTC to correspondents on the band(s) and so on.
 

.:: CLUB STATIONS ::.

Two-three operators are allowed to participate on the club station.
On condition that only one signal is issued at any moment of time.

.:: LOGS ::.
Electronic logs are sent not later than 7 days by email-as a file to the letter.
Format's file-Cabrillo, created by contest programme.
In the field of the letter "Subject" is necessary to point out the callsign, for example:R7AO

General call: "CQ KF".
Contacts are not counted for:
- distortion of the callsign;
- discrepancy of the time of conducting QSO more than 5 minutes;
- for system mistakes in the log( only the side, which made a mistake);
- for not confirmed by correspondent's log;
- for excess of phrase's limit more than over 50 signs- spare signs do not count to transmitting side.
