Radio Retro - 2020 Contest

 

 

Competition is organised by the Russian telegraphy club.

Modulation mode: CW

Bands: 40 м, 20 м, 15 м, 10 м

 

Carrying out purpose: Nostalgia on radio of a retro on KV by telegraph. To remember what our "GRANDFATHERS" worked at and to feel a difference of participants of competitions on the modern equipment.

To define the best athletes of competitions.

Members as well as guests of the Russian CW CLUB are invited to participate.

Recommended frequencies:

(7010-7040KHz; 14010-14060KHz; 21010-21060KHz; 28010-28060KHz).

The maximum total operating ‘on-time' in all categories is 240 minutes.

.:: CLASSES ::.

Class "A" Use participants of a vertical key and radio equipment (TRCVR; RX; TX) handicraft work created till 1991 (Coefficient - 2.5);

Class "B" Use participants of a vertical key and the radio equipment of manufacturing (foreign or domestic) created till 1991 (Coefficient - 2.25);

Class "C" Use participants of a vertical key and the radio equipment handicraft or manufacturing created after 1991 (Coefficient - 2);

Class "D" Use participants of a key of BUG and radio equipment (TRCVR; RX; TX) handicraft work created till 1991 (Coefficient - 1.9);

Class "E" Use participants of a key of BUG and the radio equipment of manufacturing (foreign or domestic) created till 1991 (Coefficient - 1.75);

Class "F" Use participants of a key of BUG and the radio equipment handicraft or manufacturing created after 1991 (Coefficient - 1.5);

Class "G" Use participants of an electronic key, keyboard and radio equipment (TRCVR; RX; TX) handicraft work created till 1991 (Coefficient - 1.5);

Class "H" Use participants of an electronic key, the keyboard and radio equipment of manufacturing (foreign or domestic) created till 1991 (Coefficient - 1.25);

Class "I" Use participants of an electronic key, the keyboard and modern equipment created after 1991 (Coefficient - 1).

The participant independently performs all operations on work for radio stations and maintaining the magazine. Use of a package and networks of the notification is not authorized.

It is authorized to have the only emitted signal at any moment.

Use not of radio amateur means of communication, for example: phone; the Internet and also use of the latest self-spotting technologies or package communication for simplification of carrying out QSO - contradicts spirit and rules of these competitions.

It is authorized to participate to collective radio stations, changing operators for positions.

The number of transitions on ranges is not limited. Repetitions are allowed only on different ranges.

 

.:: EXCHANGE ::.

Participants send RST, the Name (Latin letters), "fraction" and class, to the corresponding category under the terms in these competitions.

For example: UA4NU - 599 GENE/D; UA1CEC – 599 TONY/E; UA0C – 599 ALEX/A.

 

.:: POINTS ::.

For each QSO all participants get 1 points.

Complexity coefficients:

Class A - 2,5;

Class B - 2,25;

Class C - 2;

Class D - 1,9;

Class E - 1,75;

Class F - 1,5;

Class G - 1,5;

Class H - 1,25;

Class I - 1.

 

At final counting of points with coefficients, the general standings will be divided territorially:

1 Radio stations of Europe, Middle East and European part of Russia;

2 Radio stations Asian part of Russia and former USSR (UK; UN; EX; EY; EZ.);

3 Radio stations Polar region and Far East;

4 Radio stations (DX)

In these competitions there are no multipliers. There are complexity coefficients.

.:: CALCULATION OF RESULT ::.

Counting of points for radio communications and coefficients on classes, provide for a judiciary board.

Together with dispatch of reports, it is welcomed your photos from the worker of radio of a position for placement on the website http://www.RCWC.RU and record on WMA, MP3, MP4, etc.

.:: AWARDS ::.

All participants who sent reports will be handed diplomas in E-mail. In the presence of sponsors winners will be awarded with valuable prizes in the different nominations at the discretion of sponsors.

.:: COLLECTIVE RADIO STATIONS ::.

When changing operators on collective radio station it is necessary to transfer control number changing in it a name of the operator.

.:: REPORTS ::.

Reports are accepted within a month by mail both hand-written, and electronic.

On the title page it is necessary to specify full information in the paper report: names of a contest, the used call sign, a home address, E-mail, the equipment, antennas. Information on radio communications: date, time, range, RST, Name, and the class.

Reports have to be made in a chronological order of communications without division according to ranges.

Electronic reports of E-mail in the form of the file with the enclosure. A format of files - the text, created by all known contest - programs. It is necessary to specify in the field "Subject" of the letter the used call sign.
